I took this image, along with the three before this, with a macro filter. I'm still getting used to it (just got it in the mail today). I love the results (although they are a bit blurry- I wish I used a tripod). It is a wonderfully cheap alternative to the traditional macro lens. It seems about the same, and it doesn't disrupt the quality too much. I tried using it on a telephoto lens and with a long amount of fumbling, I was able to view immense amounts of detail- unfortunately, my shutter speed was much too low to get any pictures that did not turn out unbearably blurry. I will try it again later when there is more daylight. For now, I'm sticking with the stock lens and the filter for macro photography. I just can't wait until I spot a really cool bug.
